Mary Peters (82), a native of Belfield, ND and a resident of Madera, CA for 43 years passed away Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015 at her son's home in Madera. Mary worked for 40 years at Peters Brothers Nursery & Landscaping wearing many hats while working there. Mary was a great housewife going above & beyond the call of duty.

Mary is survived by her husband of 56 years, John Peters of Madera, CA. 2 sons: Kevin Peters and his wife Jean of Madera, CA and Kurt Peters and Jennifer Markarian also of Madera, CA. 2 sisters: Frances Dabbs and her husband Carl and Therese Grootendorst and her husband Edward. 4 grandchildren: Camyle, Camryne, Kiana Peters and Andrea Pereyra. She is also survived by her loving side kick companion, Heidi, her Schnauzer dog.

A Memorial service will be held at Jay Chapel on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Private inurnment will be at Arbor Vitae Cemetery.
