Richard Ryan Ortiz Jr. (22)

Richard Ryan Ortiz Jr. was called to heaven on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at a young age of 22. A lifelong resident of Madera, he attended Sherman Thomas Charter School and Madera High where he graduated as a Coyote. He was a member of the Christian Church Good News Ministries.

Richie is remembered as a loving son, grandson, brother, nephew, and a friend. Richie enjoyed participating in baseball and soccer. He enjoyed watching boxing and MMA. Richie also loved the LA Dodgers and Dallas Cowboys.

Richie is survived by his mother, Jennifer Weber and step-father Adam Weber, his father Richard Ortiz Sr. and stepmom, Niranjala Ortiz, his sister, Cassandra Gregoria Ortiz, his grandparents Frank and Anita Silva, his uncles, Ernie “Grizz” Ortiz, and Larry Ortiz , his aunts, Leo Ortiz, Sylvia Palamino, and Irma Carrillo, and uncle Frank Jr, and Gabriella, LeeAnn, and Jeremiah Silva, aunt Adora, Tyrone, Aiden, Sebastian, and Tristen Owens, uncle Robert, Carina and Abella Silva.

Funeral services will be held at Jay Chapel Friday, December 5, at 10am to 11am. A Christian burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery immediately after the service.

All family, friends, and loved ones are welcome to attend and pay their respects.
