Nicholas "Nick" Cappelluti a native and lifelong resident of Madera, CA passed away Saturday, September 24, 2011 at a Madera hospital. He owned and operated Madera Glass and Body Shop from 1947 to 1982. Nick was a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church, the Y.M.I. and was a veteran of WWII serving in the Army Air Corps.

Nick was preceded in death by his wife Dolores, daughter Cheryl Hillman and son Ron Cappelluti.

He is survived by his son Mike Cappelluti and his wife Deborah of Madera, CA and daughter in law: Rebecca Cappelluti of Bass Lake, CA. Nick was the grandfather to Jake & Erin Cappelluti, Doug Hillman, Donna Hernandez and Deanna Stay and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Jay Chapel in Madera. Recitation of the Rosary will be Thursday, September 29, 2011 at 6:00 P.M. at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, September 30, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joachim Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
