Kimberly McKinney

Kimberly McKinney, age 40, a native of Lancaster, CA and a resident of Madera, CA for 16 years passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with Melanoma Saturday, August 27, 2011 at her Madera home.

She was a homemaker and was a member of Harvest Community Church. Kim attended school at Herndon-Barstow Elementary and graduated from Madera High School class of 1989. She received her Associates from Fresno City College and attended Fresno State. Kimberly was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister.

She was always giving gifts just because she was thinking about that person. Kim was a great photographer and was the family organizer, she ensured that holidays and birthdays were special and memorable. She had a talent for interior decorating and had a great love for stray animals and saved many from the shelter.

Kimberly was preceded in death by Kent Hulet, Gail McKinney, Victor & Ferne Frank and Clayton & Kay Brown.

She is survived by her husband Jeff McKinney of Madera, 2 children: Mason McKinney and Lexi McKinney both of Madera, CA. Parents: Candi Hulet of Auberry, CA & John Frank and his wife Donna of Madera, CA.1 brother: Mike Harrison of Frisco, TX and 1 sister: Carrie Frank of Fresno, CA. Grandmother: Alice Cooper of Madera, CA. Parents-in-law: Don and Cheryl McKinney of Madera, CA. Brother-in-law: Scott McKinney and his wife Cherisse of Fresno, CA. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Jay Chapel in Madera.

A memorial service will be Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 10:30 at North Point Community Church, 4625 West Palo Alto in Fresno. Private entombment will be at Arbor Vitae Cemetery Mausoleum in Madera.
