Daniel Eric Gill Sr. (49), lovingly known as Danny, passed away on March 18, 2026, at the age of 49. Born on March 29, 1976, Daniel lived a life rooted in love, family, and dedication. 

Danny was a lifelong resident of Madera, California, where he built a beautiful life alongside his beloved wife, Lisa Gill, for 29 years. Together, they created a strong and loving family, raising three children who were the pride and joy of their lives: Daniel Eric Gill Jr., Lola Jane Gill, and Arellana Faith Gill.

Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Eric Gill; his grandmother, Jane Gill; his grandfather, Will Gill; his aunt, Judee Monte; and his uncle, Marshal Monte. 

He is survived by his devoted wife, Lisa Gill; his children, Daniel Eric Gill Jr., Lola Jane Gill, and Arellana Faith Gill; his loving mother, Joan Gill; his brothers, Brian Gill and Damion Gill (wife Stacy Gill); and his sister, Erika Gill. He also leaves behind his cherished nephews, Nicolas and Will, and nieces, Gabby, Haven, and Jade. Daniel is also survived by his father-in-law, Arthur Arellanes; his mother-in-law, Jennie Arellanes; and his sister-in-law, Annette Arellanes.  

Danny had a deep love for life and the outdoors. He enjoyed all sports and was a die-hard Raiders fan, always cheering on his team with passion. Some of his happiest moments were spent at the lake, whether fishing or hunting, surrounded by nature and those he loved. He also took great pride in playing horseshoes with the Big Valley Horseshoe League every Wednesday evening, where he built lasting friendships and shared many good times.

Danny will be remembered for his deep love for his family, his strength, and the life he built with those closest to him. His presence, laughter, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones will be profoundly missed but forever cherished.

A celebration of Danny’s life will be held on March 29, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Sugar Pine Smokehouse, located at the Madera Municipal Golf Course. This gathering will take place on what would have been Danny’s 50th birthday, as family and friends come together to honor and celebrate his life.
