Betty Jo Dover (91):  It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Betty Jo Dover on Sunday, March 27, 2022. She passed peacefully in her sleep at the age of 91. Betty and her husband, Carl, had been residents of Madera for over 85 years where they worked and raised their two sons, Gary and Stanley Dover. 

Betty worked as a Waitress before retiring and becoming an avid camper. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and family, lawn bowling, and beating everyone at cards and domino's. She was a spunky and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  

Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Dover, her brothers James and Jack Howe, her sister, Peggy Lamb, and her son, Stanley Dover. Betty is survived by her sister, Mary Sullivan of Mtn. View Ca, her son, Gary Dover of Coos Bay, Oregon, her daughter in law, Jackie Dover of Madera, daughter Beverly Tischmacher Dover and  her two granddaughters, Colleen Duran and Kayla Collins, and her great granddaughter, Genevieve Collins. 

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 6 at 10:00 am at the Arbor Vitae Cemetery in Madera.
