FRESNO – Fresno Area Express (FAX) is enhancing night mobility for Fresno residents with major improvements to its Night Service, including significantly reduced wait times and expanded route coverage to key shopping destinations. These service upgrades started January 12, 2026.

FAX Night Service riders will now experience reduced wait times from 60 minutes to 30 minutes, cutting travel delays in half and providing more reliable, convenient evening transportation across the city. This improvement reflects FAX’s ongoing commitment to increasing accessibility and meeting the evolving needs of Fresno’s growing communities.

In addition to faster service, FAX is expanding two major routes:

• Night Route 38 will extend into River Park Shopping Center in North Fresno, offering improved access to one of the region’s most popular retail and entertainment hubs.
• Route 22 will expand into Fancher Creek Shopping Center in Southeast Fresno, supporting increased connectivity to new housing, dining, and shopping options in the area.
