NEW YORK -  Legendary songwriter, recording artist and performer Paul Simon, will embark on his farewell concert tour on May 16 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada at Rogers Arena. Homeward Bound – The Farewell Tour will encompass shows across North America, the United Kingdom and Europe, with Simon and his band bringing to the stage a stunning, career-spanning repertoire of timeless hits and classic songs which have permeated and influenced popular culture for generations.

LOS ANGELES - This is Us (Original Score), a companion to the show America loves, is available today via UMe for download purchase and streaming. With 23 original pieces from composer/musician Siddhartha Khosla's compelling score for the NBC hit show, the album is curated by "This Is Us" Creator/Executive Producer Dan Fogelman and his team, music supervisor Jennifer Pyken and Khosla. Each musical element is carefully woven throughout the series, with the evocative score and songs clearly defining a moment or serving as a gentle guide through the complex emotional journey.

"Dan Fogelman's extraordinary gift as a storyteller and his ability to write beautifully about the human condition inspires me," says Khosla. "My approach to the score is simple and timeless: A $25 beaten up acoustic guitar from a thrift store in Vermont, vintage acoustic guitars, my voice, hand-tapping on my wooden table to create the rhythmic pulse, and cellos. These sounds feel appropriate to support the raw emotional energy of the show.

NORTH FORK -  Michael Olwyler will hold a book signing event in Friant, California, on Saturday February 17, between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm for the newly published photo book of his father’s black and white photography. The event will take place at 21015 Lago Bello Lane in Friant.

Peter Olwyler’s photographs from the geographic center of Mexico have just been released in a new, beautifully packaged photo book full of iconic images from the latter half of the 20^th Century. The photographs are historically significant, topically interesting, and amazingly beautiful. Many have never been seen before. The images are all from Peter’s ‘Early Mexico Period’ from 1955 to about 1971.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Don McLean, one of America's best-known singer-songwriters, was recently honored with two awards from BMI (Broadcast Music,Inc.), recognizing his long-standing career and outstanding contributions to the music industry through the iconic hits "American Pie” and “Vincent (Starry, Starry Night).”

Don was presented with his Million-Air certifications at the BMI offices in Nashville, Tennessee and accepted the coveted awards from BMI executives Jody Williams, (VP, Creative) and Mason Hunter (Assistant VP, Creative). A Million-Air Award is given to songwriters, composers, and publishers whose songs accumulate over one million U.S. broadcast performances. The acknowledgement is a mark of praise. The two tracks honored, played back-to-back, would total nearly 56 years of continuous airplay.
