NoMad Las Vegas is Now Open

LAS VEGAS - NoMad Las Vegas officially opened its doors to the public Friday, Oct. 12, bringing the refinement of a European home to Park MGM, the city's newest resort. Conceived by Sydell Group in partnership with 2017 World's Best Restaurant winners Chef Daniel Humm and restaurateur Will Guidara, NoMad Las Vegas offers highly personalized and holistic service paired with understated sophistication, comfort and intimacy.

Designed by French architect Jacques Garcia, NoMad Las Vegas' 293 rooms and suites, situated on the top four floors of Park MGM, reflect Garcia's timeless style, with a distinct New York sensibility. Each room is thoughtfully appointed with custom-designed furnishings, hardwood floors, Bellino linens, custom Argan bathroom products and original art-work curated by Paris- based design studio be-poles, who have been an integral part of the NoMad hotels from inception.

The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame Announces Nominees for 2019 Induction

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on Tuesday announced its nominees for induction into the 2019 class, and it's a mix of new and old candidates.It's the first time Def Leppard, Devo, John Prine, Roxy Music, Stevie Nicks and Todd Rundgren have made the list.Rapper LL Cool J and the group Kraftwerk have made the list four times before.Other nominees this year are Janet Jackson, MC5, Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, Rufus featuring Chaka Khan, The Cure and The Zombies.

To be eligible for nomination, an individual artist or band must have released its first commercial recording at least 25 years prior to the year of nomination. Six out of 15 of the Nominees are on the ballot for the first time, including: Def Leppard, Devo, John Prine, Roxy Music, Stevie Nicks, and Todd Rundgren.

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers Career-spanning Hits Collection 'The Best Of Everything' To Be Released November 16

LOS ANGELES - On November 16, Geffen Records/UMe will release The Best Of Everything, the first career-spanning collection of all of Tom Petty's hits with The Heartbreakers, his solo work and Mudcrutch.

The 38-track set also features two previously unreleased tracks: the poignant and autobiographical "For Real" and the collection's lead single—an alternate version of the title track, which restores a never-heard second verse to the song that was originally recorded for the Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers' 1985 album, Southern Accents.
