2025 Old Timer’s day Parade Committee announces this year’s Grand Marshal and King & Queen.
Madera Community mark your calendars for Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 10:00 am. This date will mark the 94th year of the Old Timer’s Day Parade! Leading this year’s parade as Grand Marshall is former downtown business owner and Rotarian Chris Miller. Accompanying Chris as honorable King and Queen of the Parade will be lifelong Madera residents Sheryl and Randy Berry.
The Old Timer’s Day Parade typically features 50 to 70 various entries from stagecoach’s, firetrucks, marching bands, and several youth groups. The parade spans from Flume Street down to G Street along Yosemite Avenue, ending at Madera County Courthouse Park, with the “Booths in the Park” event.
Parade Chairman Nick Salinas shared in a statement; This historical parade is one of the largest attended public events in Madera. We are honored to continue one of Madera’s most historical legacies with attendance upwards of 5,000 parade spectators. The parade is hosted and organized in partnership between the Madera Downtown Association and Madera Sunrise Rotary.
